Matilda had a day of silence a few weeks ago so that she could raise money for World Vision. She raised $400 to send to starving children in Africa. On Friday, Chris from World Vision came to our school assembly and gave her an award for her efforts. Here are some photos.

Holiday adventure

Our family went on an adventure yesterday. Mum and Dad didn't tell us where we were going. We had to look at things and try and guess.
We got an ice cream at Culverdon, I had cookies and Cream, my favourite.
I saw a sign that said Hanmer Springs so I thought that was where we were going. I WAS RIGHT!
We went for a walk and went to the Lolly Pot, we got nice lollies. We went to the pools and went in the Lazy river. We also went under the bucket in the other pool. It felt like thunder when it tipped out onto my head.
On our way home we went to the hotel in Hanmer and had some wedges and a coke and raspberry. And then we had KFC for tea.
And then we got to stay up and watch the Rugby World Cup final. The All Blacks beat France and they got the Webb Ellis trophy and medals.
We had the best adventure ever!!!!!

Hi everyone. Tonight is the ICT expo. This is an opportunity for parents and children to come to school together. The children are showing their wonderful ICT learning to their parents. Please make sure that all children come! The times are as below:

5:30pm - 6:15pm Junior children are sharing their learning with their parents in communties 4-7.
6:15pm - 6:30pm Supper will be served in the hall for parents and children.
6:30pm - 7:15pm Senior children are sharing their learning with their parents in communities 1-3.

We expect all children to be here. Junior children should arrive from 5:20pm to get themselves set up. Please ring school and ask to speak to Denise or Wendy if you have any questions.
